    Name one lie. Yes, …
Name one lie. Yes, I only know what you ‘let me know’ -about you-. Believe it or not, there are other things to know in this world besides your implied supposed secrets, and some of those things, such as the very UN-secret research you don’t have the time to read, that contradicts your emotional theories. If you had anything worthwhile to change my mind with, you’d show it, instead of going into your tantrums every time you encounter a disagreement.

    a fool fer sure …
a fool fer sure responding to your dumb i must admit a glutton for punishment too, u know little of my research moron u ONLY know what i let u know the only lies here r from u because ur a mental midget and its ur last defense thanks for playin

    Indeed, you are all …
Indeed, you are all passion and no intellect. I’m ot sure if you’re a liar or a fool, perhaps both, but definitely one or the other at least. To say you’ve been “past it” for four years is simply not true: Your research was bad four years ago, and it’s bad now. Time passing can’t change this fact.

no idiot its my passion i have many things that are my life i’m certain unfamiliar to u the reason i dont reply to most of ur crap is because i moved past it about 4 yrs ago i get many emails from 5 yr olds like urself hey thats the biz when ur have something new and old s are scared of change ur absolute stupidity i sconfimred when u bring up the dumbest view ive evr read…wrkng iso angles makes u stronger only at iso angles u r stuck on stupid!!!!!!!

  6. lazur1 Says:

    Discernment IS my …
Discernment IS my life. What’s yours? Funny: THIS, (exercise), is SUPPOSED to be YOUR life! But when you run into someone who actually studies research & real life results & pays attention to details, (of YOUR supposed “field of expertise”!), you ridicule them for not going out & drinking instead, (or whatever you think “a life” is). What DO you think “a life” is, Shawn? Obviously using your brain is not part of what you think of as ‘living”.

    Monitored isos: …
Monitored isos: GREAT adjunct: UltraHeavyResistance/Any Angle/CompleteSafety/Shore up weak links/Test strength levels/BigLifts for CNS training. Other claims still haven’t been resolved by poor research, especially Shawn Bennett’s emotional nonsense. SAID:SpecificAdaptationToImposed Demands: If you work on isos@specific angles, you get stronger at isos@specific angles. Maybe a little mass, maybe a little full range transfer, but mostly you just get better at what you actually do.

    Yep, I am, because …
Yep, I am, because -plenty- of others are taking my place, beginning to realize what a poor spokesman you are, for your -own- system, on that forum -you- started! And you aren’t anwering any of them, either, -are- you? How embarassing for you. You’re a dope who thinks making up a name is the same thing as having an idea. You wanted to be a leader, but your potential followers were smarter than you, and scared you off your own turf. Wimp. Fat, weak, flabby wimp.

Wow, indeed! This is your considered opinion to all of the facts I’ve offered, including massive corrections to your incorrect statements and opinions? You reference the wrong school, and convey conclusions that the actual reseach did -not- reach..It looks like -you- need a life, a life that involves a lot more studying, perhaps even look up and actually read the research you pretend ypu’ve already read.

    Perspective:1/I own …
Perspective:1/I own a 1RepGym. Built like a tank. I love it. 2/I believe iso/static/MIT/whatever you call it, is a valuable part of strength training. 3/I use 1RepGym to push loads that wouldn’t be safe alone. When I work the big moves, I do 3 ranges. Ex: SQUAT(much preferred over LegPress!):A/Legs barely bent.B/Thighs parallel/grnd.C/RockBottom. Anyone who thinks strong position alone could take the place of these 3 is sadly mistaken. Exercises work different structures in different positions.

    Isometric=Static: …
Isometric=Static: Loaded muscle w/o shortening. Isos can be measured w/weights or older monitors as well as new & can be measured w/o monitors by subjects trained to recognize symptoms of effort. Subjects who don’t observe symptoms will stop getting results on any machine. Motivated trained subjects get great results w/o machines. Advertising, philosophy, equipment, monitors, % of effort, flexion/extension angles & time under load don’t change what this is & has always been: Isometrics.

  17. lazur1 Says:

    Possibilities:1/ …
Possibilities:1/Partials could be in center of ROM & be a large % of ROM. This has carryover to full ROM. 2/Partials could be in different portions of ROM each session. This adds up to full ROM. 3/Partials in WEAK range, (OPPOSITE of MIT), would shore up sticking points. Enables heavier bench press: Strong part of ROM operates well below it’s capacity, before & after the training. Anyone who has the full records or knows how to get them, please contact me.

  18. lazur1 Says:

    I must go on: I …
I must go on: I can’t find: % of full ROM used, which portion of full ROM used, speed of reps, # of reps, % of 1RM, if sets went to failure or what else determined end of set, single or multiple sets, or if all of the subjects did the same versions of the above variables. If this information exists, it’s not easily forthcoming.

  19. lazur1 Says:

I’d put it all up …
I’d put it all up but it won’t fit. Now that you know the correct school, look it up yourselves. It was only 10wks, 2Xwk. Bench press only. NOT Mentioned: Number of subjects, age, gender, level of previous training, health, nutrition, rest, other activity, etc. Most important: No mention is made of progression system used, how the end of set or max weight liftable was determined, or how technique was monitored. A very poorly controlled experiment. As most are.

    1/It was the U of …
1/It was the U of SOUTHERN Miss. Leads me to believe Shawn never saw it: He’d never find it in the U of Miss’s records. 2/PARTIAL ROM was used, not static. 3/Their conclusion: A/ Partial ROM can be used as an ADJUNCT to normal training. Far cry from Shawn not allowing other types of training while doing MIT). B/More research is needed. Very true: It was a poorly controlled experiment, & this is a veiled admission of that fact.

You got any links about that as I couldn’t find it anywhere.

Are you telling me the Streamline is an Isometric machine?

  23. videosattva Says:

    Well, ParkouRob, if …
Well, ParkouRob, if this has nothing to do with Pete Sisco and Static Contraction Training, then why is Pete designing an almost identical machine? (due out in 18 months) He formerly sold a similar machine. So it seems Pete thinks measured isometrics is the next step in static contraction.

  24. ParkouRob Says:

    What has isometrics …
What has isometrics got to do with static contraction and pete sisco? Nothing! Get them out of your tags it
