no it doesnt, in general muscle exercise increase rate of metabolism which burns fat , but what was proved to burn fat is squats and leg extension and leg curls, coz its so helpful, u can feel it burn!, i hope that explains it, u can try doing these exercises i told u, and then doing cardio on the treadmill, its like a double whammy

this will not work …
this will not work miracles and most likely will not burn too much fat if any, it is one of the best if not the best lower ab workout, crappy to do at the gym though.
body fat wise it may even give you a slightly bigger look in the lower ab area, from muscle gain
To loose ‘tummy fat’ do a lot of cardio
