does anyone know how much Bally total fitness charge? i went to their website and theres nothing at all?

why dont they say how much it is? do they charge by who you are? it's really annoying i dont wnat to call them because tehy will not stop calling after you give them your info. i want a month to month payment method, i dont want a contract, do tehy even have this?

do not go there, I had a horrible experience there…it was like shopping for a car, they are so high pressure to sell you a package. There packages were completely un-reasonable as far as price! They are way too expensive!

Is there a place that sells used fitness equipment for cheap, other than ebay?

I'm considering getting a total gym, but don't want to pay full price.

Try Bargain Finder, Craigslist, call local gyms to see if they are selling any equipment they don't need anymore, they are always replacing things.

missing power 90 x fitness guide and nutritional plan?

I recently ordered power 90x however a few things were missing… I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I have the work outs but it did not come with the nutritional guide nor the fitness guide. I want to be able to start my workouts but i wanna follow it to the core. I was wondering if any one could be kind enough to email me a scanned copy of both manuals. my email is

workout and fitness tips?

okay, this kind of sucks..

just turned fifteen for almost 2 months now.. i'm about 175lb, got a semi-big belly, big thighs, very low stamina, ican't run–like run run–for more than 40 seconds, or was it less..

i'm kind of weak too, i've tried to start this habit of doing at least 50 reps on my 6lb barbell, about 15-20 pushups a day since 2 days ago…. i know i'm supposed to jog like at least 10 min a day but there just ain't no motivation….

so, any tips?
oh and, am i going to get anything good w/ what i've been doing if i keep it up?

well if u are not motivated then you have to dig deep within yourself and figure out why u want to exercise, and you have to think of where u want to be with your health and fitness in the future…. maybe if u knew someone at school that was really fit or buff, they could motivate u.. so u can maybe try to get up to there fitness..

you can hire a personal trainer, but it will be expensive…. atleast join a gym, if u hire a trainer maybe just purchase 12 sessions so they can get u on the right track, teach u how to workout, etc.

i can tell you, you have to slim down for sure… so this would mean you need 30 mins of cardio 4 times a week….

you will need to weight train, do reps of 8 - 12.. workout your shoulders, chest, triceps, biceps, legs, back, abs. everything must be worked out… you will workout each muscle once a week…. and workout with weights 4 times a week , as long as u do each muscle once a week..

your diet… you gotta cut out all your crap, all your junk food, give yourself one day a week where u can have a junk frood day, at maxiumum! eat mostly protein, lean beef, chicken, tuna, salmon, eggwhites,

vegeatbles, salads, yams, brown rice, a little bit of brown bread, nuts, some fruit….

this is what u gotta live by to get slimmer… and no pasta, no white bread, no white rice, no pizza, no fast food avoid all POP, u can drink diet ones, even fruit juices very sparingly…..

this is what u need to do… so now go do it!

Are there health concerns for breat feeding if you have implants?

I am considering a breast aug, but I am also planning to have children within the next several years. Are there health concerns for nursing if you have implants? Could the implant obstruct the milk ducts in any way?

If the implants are placed directly under the skin, all the ducts will be cut and you will not be able to breast feed, although the milk glands will still be there to produce milk, the milk can't get to the outside. If the implants are placed under the breast tissue near the chest wall muscles, then you should be able to breast feed although some ducts may be cut during the surgery. I would suggest waiting until AFTER you have your babies to augment your breasts. Pregnancy will change the shape of your breasts and you may get better looking results by waiting until after you are through having kids.

What are the different levels of fitness?

I have to do a paper on my current fitness level but I don’t know what it is. Anyone know? Thx!

Aerobic fitness tests
Tests for aerobic fitness must use the same type of exercise as the sport in which the individual participates and often will involve a ‘time trial’ format.
Muscular endurance tests
These tests may assess either dynamic muscular endurance (the capacity to repeat contractions) or static muscular endurance (the capacity to sustain a muscular contraction).
Muscular strength tests
Tests for muscular strength should ensure that the muscles being assessed are appropriate and are used through a relevant range of movement, or in the case of static strength at a specific joint angle.
Flexibility/joint mobility tests
Field tests for flexibility/joint mobility range from simple “Yes/No” assessments of whether the individual can perform a specific task, to the measurement of joint angles and ranges of movement. Perhaps the most widely used of these is the Sit and Reach test.
