Building Muscle Guide TY?

I am getting a card to access the Fitness Program…i went to that place 2 times already with my friend's card and i loved it,,it has everything weights, equipments for building muscle, pool, steam, spa all of that but i just need the info how to build muscle, like how many times should i go and work out a week? or should i work out my whole body 3/4 times a week or just a part of my body in one day and let it rest a week..man i am confusing i've been reading many articles about building muscle and people have different ideas and opinions so i need your opinions and i hope you guys can help me ty and ya if you have any experience that'll be better TY in Advance good day!
Sorry forgot to mention about my body…

I am 18 145 LBS No fat 5' 7/8" ty..

Good job on the Fitness Program.

I'll give you my take on it.

I work out every other day, each day training different muscle groups. This way I can maximize those certain muscle groups with a days rest, I usually don't like doing a full-body workout because that leaves my whole body sore the next day.

You can do something like this:

Monday: Chest, Biceps, Abs
Wednesday: Full leg workout, Back
Friday:Shoulders,triceps,biceps, traps
Sunday: Back, Abs

I'm more of an upper-body building kinda guy cause I was gifted with huge legs. I usually just tone them.

What I recommend is keeping your days that you workout your chest and shoulders far apart. Both muscle groups requires the triceps, and overworking your triceps will just slow down your performance. Also, they're both "push" muscles, and repeatedly working them will tire you out.

The key is to be consistent and persistent. Do not miss a day, if you're tired/sore, workout still but take it easy.

It's also fun if you workout your abs every other day, since not a lot of workouts require your abs. (Usually, they only workout the abs)

Happy lifting! hope that helped!

Teenager in search for good fitness tips?

I'm 16 and I am really looking forward to changing my "look" over the summer and have done a lot of things to improve my overall fitness. I joined a gym, Planet Fitness, and have been going a lot to work on most of the muscles in my body. I'm not overweight, nor do I have much excess fat but I do have parts of the body which I'd like to reduce and/or improve;

One being my butt, for a guy, I have a pretty big one (not Beyonce big but bigger than average), but I have a thin, slim waist which looks somewhat funny. I also have fat in my chest area, hence the objects which I know aren't but I still consider as "man boobs." I don't have A cups, less than that but enough for me to notice.

I'd like to know if my current exercise is good enough. I eat about 800 calories a day. 200 breakfast, 300 school lunch. I burn off 600 calories right after school. I'm wondering if its good to burn more than you eat. And what else can you recommend me to do with my exercise that will improve such things?

do sit ups

Can I use Health Savings Account contributions to pay off surgery bills from a preexisting surgery?

I set up a Health Savings Account (HSA) in October 2008. I had wrist surgery in May 2008. Can I use any of those funds to pay off some bills?

I don't think so but check with your HR department

How do I start a fitness program based on 'skipping'?

I run/jog most days of the week, but recently felt like a change and saw this as a way of adding some variety to my fitness routine.

Approximately how many minutes a day should I start off with? I tried to do it continuously for about 10, but found I cold only manage 5 - it is so strenuous, but also fun!!

start with some warm up exercises,
then try some skipping for 2 mins,
do some other exercises,
do more skipping
simple… :D

and try www.trainwithmeonline.com for other ideas…
